Yet all around you there are the craggy mountains and harshly beautiful terrain of the Akrotiri.Stavros Bay, with its lovely beach and a scattering of tavernas, is only five minutes away by car along the road which runs close to the villas. The nearest village with shops is Horafakia, just two minutes away by car, whilst Chania is 25 minutes away. A new café/taverna has opened just 200 metres down the road, which also serves a small selection of mezes and home-cooked dishes in the evenings. |
