| Brothers Yiannis and Christos are deeply attached to their village, keen to preserve traditional values and pass their rich cultural heritage on to their children. True to this spirit, the brothers have renovated an old stone village house 50 metres from the Aptera Apartments which will suit those who appreciate traditional character but would rather do without the practical inconveniences often associated with rustic properties. For Yiannis and Christos have carried out the restoration with the utmost flair and craftsmanship, creating a house that is more comfortable than many newly-built villas whilst preserving its lovely, time-honoured personality. An added advantage of the Stone House is that guests here are invited to use the swimming pool at Aptera Apartments, so that the privacy and individuality of this authentic village house can be enjoyed alongside the luxury of access to a pool. |
Accommodation: The ground floor comprises a large living room with a handsome fireplace, a separate kitchen and a WC, whilst on the upper floor there are two bedrooms (one double, one twin), each leading on to a balcony and a shower room which has very elegant brushed-brass fittings. All the furniture has been hand-made from olive wood, which is rarely used due to its cost but whose grain and hue have an incomparable beauty. |
