| Surrounded by olive trees, Villa Eleon’s boundaries are defined by a line of swaying bamboo plants so that guests can see where the grounds end and the grove begins, and another villa to the front gives Eleon further privacy from the road. The villa is situated just two hundred metres from the beach and just five minutes’ walk from the village of Tavronitis. Villa Eleon promises to become very popular with Simply guests and is a good choice for both families and couples, the mix of traditional and modern guaranteeing a comfortable home from home. This extremely spacious villa offers no less than 3 bedrooms situated on the first floor, two of which have a balcony to sit admiring the hues of the olive groves in the near distance. Whilst Villa Eleon is a brand new building, the owners wanted to create a design that would ensure a traditional Cretan atmosphere mixed with modern necessities. We are delighted that they have managed to achieve this by using terracotta floor tiles, wooden beams and boards, whitewashed walls that meet a very attractive stone archway and traditional fireplace. Modern touches such as the contemporary styled furniture, subtle soft furnishings, air-conditioning and satellite TV with video complete this inspiring atmosphere. An original feature to the villa is an interior plunge pool, this has been built next to the living room and has a large window framing a spectacular scenic view. From the lounge area, doors lead out onto the patio area where the attractive swimming pool is located with comfortable sunloungers and barbecue facilities. The surrounding area is wonderful for walks; famous for its beautiful natural environment with mountains and green fields. |
